Past Volunteer Planting and Education Opportunities

The Noble Tree Foundation was proud to partner with TreesUpstate to plant 1000 trees in 5 years in Spartanburg County at the following locations.

  • Fairforest Middle School - 18 trees planted with community and school volunteers
  • Pauline Glenn Springs Elementary School - 12 trees planted on Mar 16, 2022
  • Dorman High School Freshman Campus - 109 trees planted on Feb 5, 2022 and Feb 18, 2022
  • E.P. Todd Elementary School - 4 trees planted on Feb 9, 2022
  • Pacolet Elementary School - 4 trees planted with 90 students on January 12, 2022
  • Cowpens Elementary School- Collaborated with Trees upstate to plant 4 trees on December 1, 2021 with an instructional educational piece during School hours.
  • Spartanburg High School-Collaborated with Trees Upstate to plant 25 trees on November 13, 2021
  • Chesnee Elementary School- Collaborated with TreesUpstate to plant 16 trees on November 6, 2021
  • Dorman high School (Collaborated with Trees Upstate and BMW) - 100 Trees planted in March of 2021
  • Pauline-Glenn Springs Elementary School - 28 Trees planted in February of 2021
  • Roebuck Elementary School - 35 Trees planted in February of 2021
  • Gable Middle School - 23 Trees planted in January of 2021
  • Lone Oak Elementary School - 24 Trees planted in December of 2020
  • West View Elementary School - 31 Trees planted with 37 Volunteers on February 8, 2020
  • Jesse S. Bobo Elementary School - 31 trees planted with 31 Volunteers on January 25, 2020
  • James H. Hendrix Elementary School - 23 trees planted with 30 Volunteers on Sat. Nov. 23, 2019
  • Cooley Springs-Fingerville School - 24 Trees planted with 40 Volunteers on Sat, Nov 9, 2019

What We Do

We work to promote the presence of Noble Trees in Spartanburg County and beyond by 

  • Generating enthusiasm for the value of Noble Trees in our ecological system
  • Promoting educational opportunities wherein knowledge of, and appreciation for, Noble Trees are featured
  • Encouraging continual tree planting and maintenance programs distinguished by the use of appropriate trees, planting practices, and maintenance techniques, to include specific project support
  • Serving as a catalyst and guide for funding and encouragement of the aforementioned objectives
